International Welcome Week
International Welcome Week will take place from Tuesday 27 to Friday 30 January 2026, and coincides with in-person registration appointments for international students. It’s a great opportunity to settle in before the start of your course, get advice on living and studying in the UK and meet staff and other new students.
The week will include:
- In-person information and advice on topics such as healthcare, opening a bank account, study skills and working in the UK
- Tours of the campus and city of Leicester
- Social events, including ten pin bowling and other activities to help you meet other new students
- The opportunity to book onto an optional day trip on Friday 30 January
We'll also be running a free pickup service from London Heathrow Airport (LHR) on Monday 26 January (the day before the start of International Welcome Week).
